2009 Picture Review Part 2

In June we also:
Made our big move from the USA to Japan.
I wish I could say it was as easy as falling asleep in America and waking up in Japan,

but that would be leaving out the glorious one-day plane ride...
and we want credit for getting through that!

There were good parts though....
Like when Wade's brother Chad, who was stationed in Iwakuni at the time, made his way onto our plane for a short and unexpected visit!

It was so great to see him!

Okinawa...our home for the next 3 years!

July:
Moving into our new home and exploring...

YES, I consider trying out new restaurants exploring!!

and this little guy turned TWO!
August:

We got some fish..
.
and killed some fish :(

We started our school year...
our First as homeschoolers,

and explored more!

September:
Took us to Okuma for Sara's 12th Birthday...

can you believe that in 2010 I will be the mother of a teenager?!?!
October:
Fall In Okinawa, and all the fun that brings.

November:
Thanksgiving

And you know about December...

Wow!
It was a great year!
Can't wait to see what 2010 brings!

2009 Picture Review

Last January we still lived in Virginia.

There was enough snow for this...

and Luke was still small enough to fit here...

In February, Gramdmas came to visit

because this little girl turned 3!

March:
Georgia was a first time patient

Luke was impatient (at the passport office)

and we had more SNOW!

April:

Brought beautiful Spring weather,

special Father/ Daughter moments...

and friends!

May:
My Mom and Dad came to watch the kids,

so I could run my first 1/2 Marathon, and I ended up in the ER!

Jackson turned 9

and then we said goodbye to our stuff as we packed up for our big move!

June:
With no home to call our own, we lived in a hotel until Wade graduated.
Then we loaded up the car and drove south for Good Times and Goodbyes!

Ok, I have to stop here... I am in tears!
I think it was the picture of our truck in front of Chick fil a, with the Target sign in the background that did it!
I'll stop for now, and start with our Overseas journey tomorrow!
I'm off to enjoy my new vacuum and a New Year's Party with neighbors... Happy 2010!!
