With Wade finally home, we decided to venture out today to do something "touristy"... We ended up at The Nakagusuku Castle ruins.

This castle was built in the first part of the 15th century and offers a panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean to the east, and the East China Sea to the west.

The kids had fun exploring, climing all the steps, and running around in the grassy areas within the walls.
The curvy walls were beautiful to look at, but made me so nervous when the kids and Wade seemed to teeter on the edges!
Here is one of the three wells found within the castle walls.
These added to the prestige and reputation of the castle.
Luke reading a sign that he said mentioned something about his birthday?!
When it started to rain, we hung out in this doorway. I love the way Luke was looking at Georgia here!!
Sorry, I know this post is kind of a picture overload , but it truly was amazing!
(and if you can belive it, we were only there for an hour)
